Most business have had to re-strategise given the cards dealt from the pandemic. The Perch are no strangers to this reality, as one of Swansea’s spirited night venues they have had to stay quiet for a lengthy stretch. They were motivated to re-connect with their customers, so they used their down time to renovate their space to accommodate a kitchen and pivot their offering towards small plates with big flavours. The Perch felt it needed a campaign behind it to match the energy of their vision.
From the get-go, The Perch wanted to show off their fun, but not over-eccentric personality and they needed to communicate this much more to their audience in this campaign. Using archive photography with re-contextualised typography, subtle, sketchy textures and toned palette gave us the tools to assemble a wide bank of engaging content, whilst giving The Perch space to flaunt their vibrant food offering.
